Hi there,
I have joined ybw this evening in the hope of gaining some help or advice regarding my lcd engine hours clock which is an integral part of a tachometer.
The display has been blank for several months now, though I did get a reading for a minute or so when I played a hairdryer on the back of it!
It is cost prohibitive to replace the whole unit.
I am sure this must be a common fault and I would much appreciate any assistance.

Regards,

Steve.

Unfortunately an all too common problem. If you do a search on this forum you will find several threads which should be of help. You may find that the display starts working when warmer abd dryer weather comes along, otherwise there have been links to alternative hour meters here for not too much money.

The meter will still be recording the hours used ie. it is probably just the display that is not working.
