You are getting delusions..Best stick to real sailing boats in the used/clapped out devision. The running costs might be slightly closer to what you had in mind.
I object to that,clapped out divisionYou are getting delusions..Best stick to real sailing boats in the used/clapped out devision. The running costs might be slightly closer to what you had in mind.
Actually, I was up in Brittany for a rally and noticed a couple of exteme multies gather dust by the river. I expect they have a short life before the next 'best one'; But, hey, just adverising money?
You would need an anchor, best of luck finding a marina berth, let alone one you could afford.Hmm, I wonder what kind of anchor it would need.
When you are being bankrolled by a bank, such things are beneath consideration. Obviously it accounts for the relative success of Dragonfly tris, we fold into a mono berth in a couple of minutes.You would need an anchor, best of luck finding a marina berth, let alone one you could afford.
Leave him alone. Dreams don't cost anything as long as they stay dreams, and their doesn't seem to be any danger of them ever being anything elseYou are getting delusions..Best stick to real sailing boats in the used/clapped out devision. I've got a very nice list of boats for when I win gazillions on the lottery, and they cost me nothing - well, maybe a couple of pounds now and then when there's a nice big rollover.
You need to ask her though !8

Err yes…although she has an inklingYou need to ask her though !
Tell her you’d like to buy Sodebo. Then when you show her your lovely little 25ft keelboat she’ll be so relieved, all will be forgiven.Err yes…although she has an inkling
I have heard of that trick….I expect she has as wellTell her you’d like to buy Sodebo. Then when you show her your lovely little 25ft keelboat she’ll be so relieved, all will be forgiven.
Certainly with all that space you could have a sun deck with a beach umbrella…..don’t always have to go fastImagine having one of those;
"Love, we're running a bit low on Rum; think we'll just pop to the shop"
You could spend a couple of days nashing across to the Caribbean, have a bbq and a couple of cocktails on the beach before sailing home. You could then be back at your desk at work in the UK by the end of your fortnights holiday!
It has a certain appeal!
Familiarity with the breed would banish that notion They are horrifically uncomfortable, noisy and tbh bloody scary. The apparent wind is a constant 40+ kn, the spray comes aft like a fire hose. I loved my ride on a 60 for 2 hours. The Dragonfly is perfectly civilised by comparison.Imagine having one of those;

Whilst I don't doubt you for one iota. I can assure you, comfort is not the primary reason behind me not currently owning and sailing an Ultime Tri!Familiarity with the breed would banish that notion They are horrifically uncomfortable, noisy and tbh bloody scary. Nor me….Whilst I don't doubt you for one iota. I can assure you, comfort is not the primary reason behind me not currently owning and sailing an Ultime Tri!
AAAh! yes best to ask, not say bought and need a cheque fo £X, 25 years on and it's still brought up - you bought a boat without asking!Err yes…although she has an inkling
I suspect the idea of asking for forgiveness, rather than permission, was not aimed at marital situations..AAAh! yes best to ask, not say bought and need a cheque fo £X, 25 years on and it's still brought up - you bought a boat without asking!
I thought asking for forgiveness would be easier than permmission. I was right BUT keep being reminded.
