As you're back online, thought I'd just share some feedback with you.

I was at the marina yesterday getting our boat ready for the glorious coming summer!

Quite a few berth holders were there and, it has to be said, the mood was pretty low.
Boats that had been out were very dirty around the water line and had lots of weed on rubbing strakes and fenders from uncleaned lock walls. There were also complaints of touching the bottom and poorly maintained and crumbling banks, as well as moorings that are overgrown or inaccessable due to fallen trees etc.

You need to be aware that most of us can only just afford to keep our boats on the river and we are already discussing other options. It is also worth noting that not many young families are boating these days.

It is a great shame that since my first Thames trip in 1988, I have seen boat numbers drop and the river in general is not half the river it was.

I do hope that whatever revenue your current and future plans generate is spent on getting our river back up to the sort of standard we all deserve.

I am sure I am not alone in this.
