For Sale ?
So are you now going to become some pain in the ass diva, demanding your own personal shower in the marine facilities and red carpet to your pontoon finger which you refuse to share ?
Don't most people sing the praises of the boat they own when featured in these magazine articles, saying how amazingly it rides the seas , how spacious it is down below , and then when you get to the for sale section they have a massive advert for the boat with an over inflated price as its "famous" but really they are desperate to get rid of it ?
I don’t want to upset the owners of this great forum by naming names, and I’m not one to brag, but I do want to bring to the attention of anyone who knows me on here that my boat is featured in a sailing magazine.
If you scan the magazine rack at your local newsagent and see a used boat test of a Cheverton Caravell it’s yours truly and family!
I must admit I was surprised and flattered to have been asked to take part. I never expected to own a boat that would be deemed interesting to the sailing press. I ended up with a bit more of a restoration / refit job than I was expecting when I bourght Paean but I have to say I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Seeing it in print does bring another dimension to the time / work / money expended.
Right, got that off my chest, now off to thinking of something informative, witty or just downright insightful to write on the other threads
