I think that you are being a little harsh. I considered the dark blue hull to be 'elegant' and more attractive than all these Magnolia, 'American' Boats.

Whilst function has to take precedence over form, I certanly would not describe QMII as any uglier that most of the other liners now crossing the Atlantic. She is a bit broad, but I quite like my women well rounded.

I still cannot work out where the photgrapher was. Because by the time the ship was turned round as shown, we were well away from her. I assume that the photographer was at Hythe with a big zoom lens that produced quite a bit of foreshorteing.

First I knew about it was when Alistairr told me he had seen us in the paper.
QM2 is not what I would call an elegant design.
