Falmouth Tidal Streams

I'm racing in Falmouth this week, does anyone know of online or printed tidal streams for the area. I have not found anything very specific.

The race courses will use the three areas on the chartlet below

Try the Norwegian tidal stream website here

That is the only one I know of unless you try the Admiralty TotalTide program for PC.

You could also ask a local with knowledge, harbour master/sailing school maybe about the localised wind variations due to the surrounding "hills", peninsula's. You can hit some nice strong funnels of wind sometimes....

For what its worth, been sailing and racing from Falmouth for 30 odd years so a very quick guide
Area 3: tide roughly follows line of channel biggest prob is in prevailing wind (W) huge wind shadow and hole from Treffusis Head also keep an eye out for shipping movements.
North end of area can get very shallow on LWS around midday on Springs.
Areas 1+2 re tide sorry all my tide books are onboard good local resources Mylor SC, Royal Cornwall SC. huge wind funnel usually N to S between Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's LH, No Shallows to worry about.
