Falmouth/ Polperro

Clark's Restaurant - good food, nice service, all at not too bad a price.
Chain Locker Pub - "lovely" staff, decent beer.

Polperro - "Pilchards Inn" - good atmosphere, mind you don't bang your head.

Our favourite pub in Polperro is the Blue Peter - it's only a few steps from the Three Pilchards so try them both while you're there!

The Blue Peter is definitely dog-friendly. I suspect the Three Pilchards is too (it's that sort of pub) though I can't specifically remember seeing dogs in there. Mind you, I'm surprised I can specifically remember anything about either of them...
