Falmouth - good, free dinghy launch sites.

As the title says I want to launch an Avon, any convenient free slips or good beach to launch at half tide maybe? Handy nearby parking would be good but as long as I can drop off the dinghy, not vital.
Falmouth Penryn river sort of area. Mylor would be too far. Thanks.

If you talk nicely to the guys at Ponsharden (Rustlers bit) you might strike lucky. You could park in the yard during the summer, winter is a bit trickier.

Have you looked at Swanpool, Maenporth or Gylingvase (probably wrong spelling)? All sandy beaches with nearby parking, possibly some of it free.
