Dear all
I have a wonderfull example of the super nice Targa 47, but now I ran into a problem with water inside the aft cabin.
The water comes through the ceiling above the beds (spot and speaker holes). When I remove the ceiling plates I can see the underside of the fiberglass construction and there are some water above this construction.
I`m unsure whether it is rain water or “drinking water” as I can`t find a link between rainy weather and the drips. By washing the boat - nothing comes in.
Have any of you experienced something like this or have any ideas to where the problem start?
Are there e.g any water pipes close to this location which might can have a leak?
All ideas are welcome.
Thanks in advance
Kent

Thanks - but its not condensation either. I also checked that.
When I remove the ceiling plates I can see it seeps out through the construction.

Hello there , I have bought an extremely cheap Targa 47 in a very sad condition - for a full refit project. Seems my Targa have identical problem - aft cabin has strong signs of water damage under previous owner - and a fresh water signs was discovered by hired captain after boat delivery to destination port. It was rainy on a 200 nm delivery route. Does OP have discovered a source of leak or any body else knows this problem and solution. Thanks in advance. If no reply’s - I will post my result after some time - when we discover the source.

I have asked a question - now - seems like answer - probably previos owner has constantly left starboard shouting window open . Since yacht is my marine - and shouting windows are closed - no more water leaks detected.
