For years I've always wanted and admired the targa 43, now I've finally got one! I absolutely love it, ok the internal space isn't quite as good as some of its rivals, but hey it makes up for it in so many other ways.
Looking forward to the coming season for plenty of boating fun ?

Great boats, I sold one 18 months ago and really miss not having it. Great turn of speed from the larger engine option, fantastic in a heavy sea, always feeling like 'hewn from granite' and will look after you if the sea kicks up.
Really well built but now at an age where lots of the items are starting to fail although the Fairline built aspect holds up well, it's the bought in bits that are now becoming worn out.
Certainly a classic in the making and I'd have another in a shot.

She was called Rhumbar, now called Utopia. She's a older one, with the 63's, acceleration is no different than the 75's, the top end is a couple of knots different, but I'm happy cruising at the low twenties so top end is irrelevant for me. Also she is very frugal on fuel, she burns the same amount doing 20 knots as my old trader 41 did at 10 knots. Happy days! Not sure how to post photos on here

We love our t43 as has been said a really solid boat from when they were built to a standard not a price. This winter we have stripped out the interior headlinings and all the side coverings as well as sell the exterior seating and cushions.
The interior is 95% done just waiting for the exterior to be done and shipped back then will go and refit it all

I also own a 43 Targa and agree they are fantastic boats with a great social area on deck level. Mine (Furious Lady) also has the 63p engines, cruising is effortless at 25 knots and very comfortable 31 knots is the w.o.t . Ultra frugal regarding fuel usage I presume not having the windage of flybridge helps considerably . Cannot tell you any bad points after owning mine for more than two years. Good luck and enjoy

I had to look twice when I saw the photos. Thought my god he's done some work there !

We had a Phantom 42 on 63P engines and it was fine so a Targa 43 will be no problem. We had a couple of oil lines give up the ghost so keep an eye out and a stop solenoid failure but other than that nothing much to complain about.

Henry :)
