As I am researching an article on buying a used Targa 37 I would appreciate hearing from any body who has owned or had any experience of a Fairline Targa 37. Stories both good and bad especially any cruising tales and adventures.

Classic Fairline. Although popular, they seem slow to sell. Buyers market maybe, so haggle on price? Friend just took nearly two years to sell his, and it was a fine example.

I believe the one to go for would be a late (circa 2000) with the big (KAD44) engine option.

Think he is researching an article for the mag,not actually buying a T37.
Anyway he seems avery sensible lad and if he was buying would obviously buy a proper boat that could be used all year round...ie. a flybridge. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Indeed. Funny how people don't actually read the post.

Explains a lot of the responses in other posts too come to think of it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Greg

I have a Fairline Targa 36 1995 model which I have had for 4 years - this is identical to the 37 but with a slightly smaller bathing platform. Fabulous boat!
If you want full info mail me and I will fill you in
