Anyone got a T37 with a holding tank installed? If so - whereabouts has it been put?

My T37 is perfect in every way - except it hasn't got a holding tank, so I'd like to get this sorted out. Be interested to hear from any other owners who have one installed.

Cheers

I find it incredible that boats over 25' are allowed to be made without holding tanks. I think it should be made compulsory !!

so what is happening in the marina's then ??

A bit of organic waste is no problem, compared to the chemicals which go down the sink outlets (such as washingup liquid, shampoo etc. etc.). If you fancy a bit of a campaign, think about grey waste first, hmm?

Depends what you mean by no problem. Not sure that I'd like to be swimming in a busy anchorange just after someones curled one out. The washing up liquid option looks far preferable to me /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Thanks for this. On the T37 the water tank is under the bed in the forecabin; under the two beds in the mid cabin are just big storage spaces. I guess this would be the logical place to put one.

Well, we use the marina shower block. Round our way most people seem to consider that no1's are ok on board, but for no2's you definitely need to go ashore...

What gets me is the number of marinas that say you must use a holding tank, but do not provide pump out facilities. A lesson I have learned - Make sure you can empty it before you fill it.
