I am keen to install a rudder indicator and have bought a cheap Chinese device which needs to be attached to the steering gear somewhere. However, although I can just glimpse the white linkage peeping out from behind the starboard engine on full lock, I can't get to it, let alone see what I am doing!
Is it a lost cause without lifting an engine? I'm not able to crawl about too much, waiting as I am for a heart operation and suffering the expected symptoms.
