I hope this post doesn't break too many rules but some of you may be interested to know that Fairline are having a clear out of 'non production' stock. The purpose of which is to create more space for boat building.

So if you fancy a 'Glendenning Motor' (whatever that is), or have your heart set on a Phantom 40 Deck Hatch or a Phantom 46 Shower Track this is the perfect opportunity as they'll be sold off at a fraction of their original RRP.

Stock will be released in batches as it is catalogued. The first batch is listed here http://www.fairlineownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3246 and I'll post details of additional batches as they are released.

If anyone wants a photo of an individual item please let me know. To order, please call Bates or your local dealer if overseas quoting the part number.

Before anyone asks, I'm not on commission for this stuff!

I feel it's gonna be a clumsy process Pete:
1. The descriptions are unclear; no pictures
2. If a customer is interested he/she asks say Bates. They ask Fairline. Fairline reply, Bates forward the reply
3. Repeat #2
4. then you find out that you don't like the price - they seem not to be revealing the price at this stage

I don't have a long enough life to participate in the above. It would be much better to let Heather or Coastal Rides deal with this.

When I say the descriptions are unclear, look at the first 2 items- portholes for s66 and s78. You'd think they must be the San Remo portholes, because s78 doesn't have any others. But they only came in opening, not fixed, so then you doubt your understanding of what they're offering. So go to step #2 above...

To clarify, those prices are the Sale prices, (not the RRP). I'll amend the screen shot accordingly. I'll try and make the photos more accessible (they were sent to me as a 30MB Word Doc). Note that the prices exclude VAT and delivery but they are negotiable.

Pete, do you think they might have bits of that ege carpet lying around somewhere?

I checked with Fairline and carpet was generally ordered boat by boat so it's unlikely there will be any surplus. There will be material though, and when I was last at the factory they appeared to have loads of wall lining (Alcantara) so that should appear soon.

Anyhow if you check my website, there's another batch including White Quba Sails jackets (which are very nice), lots of decals / stickers and crockery, glassware.

Thank you Pete, I appreciate it. I'll contact them directly to see if they could find the right type/color of carpet for me.

Thanks Pete. I just received a PM suggesting the same. I already sent an inquiry to Fairline this morning but I'll contact Ed as well if I don't hear back from them soonish.
