Hello to all,

I need some advice regarding suitability of the sprint/weekender for the type of
mooring that I have, i.e. it dries on springs.
Could you tell me if the z drive tilts above the keel line & how well does the boat sit
when on the mud.
I have many more questions, but, unless I can use my drying mooring I will have
to look at other types. Can you recommend any other similar craft which I may not have considered, diesel would be best.

Hi and Welcome
yes the outdrive should lift far enough to stay clear of the mud and the boat will be fine on a drying mooring, no problems there, however if the boat dries out on spring tides it would be good practice to lift the leg each and every time, you leave her, because on the one occasion you think I'll be back tomorrow for a spin something will crop up and OOOOPS there's your prop in the mud and posssible damage!!!

I have a Sprint which I kept on a drying mooring for two years. Had to have leg up all the time. Did it no harm, but you need to watch the ram seals though.
