Fairline Fury AQ to diesel ???

Well still not got my boat home yet so lots to plan in mean time. Will be in next month or so though :)

So it us running twin AQ130/270 drive. As far as i am aware they are good but not run for about 5 years. still turning over though etc.

Dont know why as i know fuel consumption isnt the best on these as i believe at cruising 20knots they guzzle around 5-6gph, and a si wont be doing long distance cruisng every week i am happy with that.. Safety reason, well i see it if you look after the boat and maintain it then it will last another 50 years without self combusting.

I like the idea though of performance, they give. 26+knots at crusing speed and i think is good.

But if i went to diesel engines on the 270`s what engine could i go with thinking on budget of say £3-4k for both engines if that is possible.
