Hi Guys hoping some one will know what system Fairline use for fresh water senders.
We have a Squadron 60 2013 and a problem with water reading not showing despite the fact we have 1/2 a tank.
We have had an engineer out and he can't find it most use a sender set up but their is nothing in the tank at all so not sure how the dash panel gets a reading, any ideas please?
Thanks

I have a P46 with twin tanks filed from one filler, the sender is in the primary tank (for obvious reasons) I wonder if this is the same with yours and the engineer is looking at the wrong tank! My sender is a simple float on a rod which does stick. I did get a new one in 2014 from the OE suppliers WEMA in Honiton Devon UK +44 1404 881810. Hope you get it fixed, let me know if you find it as I have a trick to remove the thing if there is not much headroom above the tank.

It will be the pressure based system that was referred to on the other thread. Generally works well in my experience.

The sender will be once the supply line as it exits the tank. If not at the tank exit it will not be far away

Hi
I have a Squadron58 2012, I am quite sure the installation is exactly the same. You have 2 water tanks between engine room and master cabin. The sender is on the SB tank. It is from Energy Solutions, you find another one at the black water tank (not recommandable to remove), and at the crew cabin holing tank (if you have the crew cabin equipped). If you never used that holding tank you can use the sender just to check functionality.
You can open the panel at the lower helm and just change the cable the water tank with e.g. the holding tank to check functionality of the display. It‘s just RJ45 cable, quite easy to switch.

Hi All have now found it and it was located close to the outlet despite being told by Fairline and Energy Solutions its on the top of the tank.
I have ordered another one as it is not working, on the 60 its under the main bed and the access hatch is to starboard in the floor, still not sure how its attached but hopefully when received it will become clear.
Thanks for all your help.

Out of curiosity, where did you order it from and how much?
I'm after such a sender to be used on a custom setup exporting to NMEA2000 but cannot seem to get any reply from the company (mentioned on the top of the thread)

cheers

V.

Hi I got it from Energy Solutions and it cost £110 + VAT and I called them yup to discuss as they have to be programmed to the correct tank.
