Fairline 43 ac opinions please

I have a question about the layout, bearing in mind its basically a Phantom 43 with the stern filled in, why do you loose the double cabin that is usually under the internal helm?

Surely they missed a trick and this should be a 3 cabin boat, like the F43?

That was the basic problem with the 43AC. It only had 2 cabins whereas the Sealine 410/F43 and 450/T46 and, indeed, the older Princess 435 all had 3 cabins or 2 cabins + convertible dinette. The other problem was it's price. It was close to £300k new which was a lot of money when it was introduced and way more than most Turbo 36's were worth at the time which was less than £100k and which was too big a difference for most owners to trade up
