Goodday all, my first post so I hope this is the right place...

I've just taken ownership of a well loved Faircraft 24 built in 1992.
I'm struggling to find information (other than the Boat Hire firm) about the company, designers etc.

Does anyone know much about them?
I've been old there was a tie-up with Falcon boats at sometime, but know no more.

Welcome to the forums and boat ownership.
Do you have a picture of your boat? Edit: I think I found the advert, nice boat very different from mine!
I have what I have found out is a 1980 Falcon 750 which is about 24ft and a river boat, I am also looking for more info on it.

My Casper:

When speaking with the govt. registration people they told me it was a Falcon 750 and when examining the cockpit cover I found a label stating Falcon 750 from May 2008

As I'm away from the boat I'm reluctant to post a pic just now. Maybe in the spring. It's a sports cruiser style with a dizzying 29hp diesel inboard. Do makers hide identity plates on their boats and if so, where is the best place to search? Cheers.

Try around the steering position , or it might be melded at the stern .

Searched stem to stern on mine and so far found nothing, previous owner had it recorded as a Waterland 750 which has a similar layout but a mid engine and a small double berth in the stern

I found the advert for what I think your boat is, same make, same age, same hp :) looks nice but a totally different style than mine and 10 years younger than mine too.

As for speed, mine tops out at about 12km/h and cruises at 8km/h quite comfortably with it's 13hp VP MD7A diesel engine

I think I may have solved it - with a bit of ferreting around the 'net.
It appears the Falcon 24 was designed by Andrew Wolstenholme. I'm not sure of the timing but the Bounty 24 shares the same moulding and it would appear they were taken over by Shadow boats. Still in business, it's possible to buy a Shadow 24
based on the same design.

The Falcon you mention was designed by Wolstenholme as the Falcon 22 latterly with an extended bathing platform and badged the Falcon 23.
It is an entirely different style to the OP's boat which I would think had originated in Holland.
Plenty of photos of Falcon 23 on the net

@jandnrowe is the original poster, it was the mention of Falcon that got me here all excited :)
