We had a 410 which was the forerunner of the F43. Essentially they are the same boats except the F43 has a larger bathing platform. We were pleased with our boat and I dont recall any major problems at all. The Volvo 63P engines suit the boat well and push it along to 30knots+. The hull is fine but it slams a bit in a head sea but most boats of that size do. The design of the accomodation is excellent especially the way the cockpit and the aft cabin is combined only that the walkways and heads in the aft cabin are a bit tight if you're tall and/or wide. We particularly liked the saloon because it feels very open to both the cockpit and the forward part of the boat and the seating is very comfortable. The dinette is worth having rather than the 3rd cabin because it can double as both. Sealine are very good at helm ergonomics and the lower one is very useable with good visibility. Boarding the boat from the stern is easy and moving about the boat is also easy as all the stairs and walkways are well designed (except for access to the aft cabin which is tight) - a good boat for young kids, dogs or the less than agile
Criticisms? On our boat which was a '96 model, the finish was a bit fragile. The cherrywood was easy to mark and the carpet felt thin and cheap. The galley worktops were finished in wood which was impractical but I believe corian is used now. On our boat Sealine used some crappy looking aluminium door frames inside which looked naff but maybe thats changed on later boats too. The one thing I really hated was the cheap and nasty string operated helm seat adjusters which never seemed to work properly
Altogether, the 410/F43 is an pretty good boat IMHO and its no wonder that Sealine have been producing them for some 10yrs now
