Eye Co (Boat Gear Direct) brilliant service

This last week I purchased a new warp and chain for my windlass from Eye Co just up the lane from SYH Marina at Levington.

The advice and service was superb. We tried various chains on my new windlass and their advice was first class.
They offered me a discount off their prices on the web without me asking, They did the splice for free and phoned me at home
when it was ready to pick up, and helped me carry it in a free bag to the car.

It is so unusual today for a business to go the extra mile that I thought it worthy of a mention.

Have to agree. A friend said their galvanising best on East Coast - went and bought a few shackles & shocked at how cheap they are. Went again with a bit more confidence - bought much more, again very cheap. They take you into a container full of muslin bags of shackles, next time I go I'll buy by the bag.
