Extended swim platforms !

Hi any body know where I can purchase extended swim platforms for my mf755 (without paying the mark up from a dealer)?
Also, is joining rope to chain a fairly easy process ??

Don't know where you would get extended platforms other than from a dealer unless you have the custom made.. Also probably not the easiest job to retro fit them because the back of the transom isn't that accessible so you might have to cut in some inspection hatches or remove the fuel tank to get there..

Rope splicing is easy enough, lots of sites with information on how to do it.. If you search "rope to chain splice" on youtube there are some videos as well..

Ok, many thanks. I will probably get the dealer to fit them for me then as they have quoted £250 for labour !!

I learnt how to splice ropes on Utube, easy as you like.
