With the Janne into the north

Spring 2018 to fall 2019 I hope to pass with my aluminium Koopmans 44 along the coasts and islands of the Norwegian Sea.
As an experienced singlehanded sailor much could be done alone - but with a crew is much more fun, and of course, safer. So I would like to invite experienced sailors to join me on one of the following trips:

The rough plan:
1- end of April 2018: from Amsterdam to Norway - 8-10 days to Bergen -
2- month of May : Sognefjord to Jontunheimen - sailing to the snow, some cross-country skiing
3- June : at ease along the coast to the north
4- July: midsummer at the Lofoten
5- August: to Spitsbergen/Svalbard and back to Norway
6- September: round the Lyngen Alps

Oktober 2018 to March 2019 I’ll have my winter quarters at Tromsø, in March I hope to move the boat to Narvik, from where some cross-country trips will be made.

7- May/June 2019 : again Spitsbergen / Svalbard, one way trip
8- July: Jan Mayen, Iceland and the Faeröer
9- September : Shetlands en Orkneys, home

If you always wanted to make a special trip in the tingling north, but also know that you will never achieve that on your own keel, this might be your chance.
For the trips nr 1, 5, 7, 8 I’m looking for experienced skippers or competend crew. The other trips need a sportive mind and an easy character. The formula is simple: if you’re interested in one of the trips, call for further information and we will judge if a match can be found. There are three places available.
Daily costs for food, fuel, harbours are shared. Travel costs at own expense.kaptsam_kl.jpg

Just a quick note to anyone who may be considering this opportunity.
I have sailed with Sam before on board Onrust and had a fantastic trip.
Onrust is an excellent, well appointed and truly capable craft that will take you anywhere !
Sam is an experienced, friendly affable kind of guy that is very easy to get along with and non demanding of his crew.
If your thinking of it then do it as you'll enjoy it I'm sure.

Thanks mate. Is one of the legs interesting for you, or too busy again offshore?

Always interested Sam but hard to tell where I'll be next week never mind next year! Anyway your turning the wrong way when you exit the North Sea canal !
