Expensive bargains from Aldi

[ QUOTE ]
Well I for one am extremely pleased you have had a result, not least because I have a predilection to buying anything in Aldi that is remotely garage/boat/diy oriented and was not looking forward to having to stage a boycot on your behalf. Visited a pal last week to ask if he could lay some bricks for me. Of course said he, 'does he need to bring his cement mixer?, asked his wife;
'No need, got one.'
'What about a welder?'.
'We are laying bricks'.
'I know' she said, 'but he's been to Aldi a lot recently'

I know the feeling well

I eyed up the bench saw on Sunday, but decided not to buy it following this thread.

Bit worried about Bilbobaggins and I am sure the authorities have his cards well and truly marked, come the revolution.

Well done on the result, but Aldi needs to explain why they will not publish an e-mail address or telephone number on their website.

I will be giving their Bangor store a miss for a bit as I don't want to get caught up in their purge. However, it is a smallish car park and very close to the Town centre.

My 'other' local in Nantwich is also close to the town centre, but at least all parking in the town is free, which means that no one needs to 'steal' courtesy spaces offered by the stores and that is the also the solution for Bangor.

It sounds as if you will quite rightly get a result.

Obviously they need to police their carparks but considering you had spent quite a bit and were only 14 miutes over..... Parking Nazis /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
