expensive antifoulant versus cheap

If I remember Jotun couldn't sell Sea Queen in Greece! Can't remember why not, but at the time I was looking at buying 200 ltr + for various people. I was on the phone to the UK and their main suppliers in Athens for days and they just wouldn't supply it to Greece!!

I'd use what the local fishermen use and add some Round Up to it (your local farmers suppliers will have it). I'd guess that's what the fishermen do and it'll work and be far cheaper than named stuff.

AF

I paid only 120 euros for sanding the Hull of a 32 foot boat and two lays of the most odinary AF used by local fishermen, after 9 months in water hull was almost as clean as new after hosing.

I got mine very cheap in Athens:D

The red stuff they put on the bottom of the big ships:D

you have to take your own container like old 5ltr paint tins,

I was only in the water a max of 8 months each year, but when hose down it looked as good as new.

Bcos it was so cheap, I re anti fouled it, but I'm sure it would have gone well over the year.

Also I was on the move a lot,not just tied up at the dock.

As bobt says talk to the fishermen, you know "nod nod wink wink" :D:D

Yep, that's me too.. the big ship stuff does me a treat.
As I lift out every year I've started to thin it out, still works a treat:D
