Expandable Hose?

MDL Torquay handed these cassette hoses out when the pontoon hoses were removed. It is an absolute b*gg*r to get back into the cassette, but that way it does take up minimum space. They are less prone to kinking than conventional hose, but still quite capable of doing so when most inconvenient.
I think these hoses have reduced water use for MDL as folks can't be bothered to hose down so often.
BTW, I do not use the tank water for drinking.

Space on the boat is always tight for me, and having a traditional hose takes up a load of room!

I tried an expandable hose from a stall in dartmouth last year and it lasted a week before snapping...

Anyone had luck with the brass/alu crimped versions? May give it a go?

These are great, also brought at LIBS. We have 2, 1 for the boat and 1 for home.

As previously stated go for the bigger 1 if poss

We tried the flat hose - what a pain. Bought an expanding one - brilliant and very small to stow away. We always use sterilising tablets in the water tanks and don't drink as such from them.

I have the drinking water approved blue flat hose from Force 4. Not really had a problem winding it back into the cassette, and stows nicely in the lazerette.
