Planning on locking out aboiut 1100 tommorow (Wednesday 21st )for a sail to Watchet returning Thursday afternoon.

Anyone else interested in either a sail in company or join me on Vega? The luxury ensuite focsle is available it has full standing headroom (with the forehatch open /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)You may have to share with an inflatable dinghy and a spinnaker pole.

Would like to, but got myself neaped last thursday on the Hard leaning posts and wednesday I can get "Ellen" back on the mooring, looks like the heater will be of use tomorrow, Long keel, so needs attending.Checked the hull and no sign of Pox, 1963 build so was a little nervous as to what I might find.
Also I have a stinking headcold so it will be an effort just to manage this little job. Got to go, more paracetamol and brandy with hot milk calling. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would but she won't let me take little Ben single handed, fair enough really. Weather is looking rubbish. Have a good time.

Take your brolly Tone! Is Barebones broken?
Ps. If you are going down, any chance you could turn my little tender over. Its the one nearest the main slip (you know it)
Cheers,
Andy

Dear Sailing Swines,

(Through gritted teeth) Have a nice time. I will be having a great time myself at a community safety meeting in Blackwood Police Station which is an all-dayer. Whizzo!

Yours jealously,

Lizzy D

Seriously - Have a great trip. (Mike)

Hello Mike, I hope the good folk of Blackwood realize the sacrifices you have to make so they can sleep safely in their beds /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

At least the police station will have central heating ,hot coffee, some nice WPCs in fact, can I come with you instead? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

My nav could do with a bit of brushing up,set off for Watchet and ended up in the river axe, only realized my error when the Bell and the Star turned into the Dolphin and the Ship /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Had the pleasure of tony barebones' company.and not a drop of rain came our way,a few drops of other liquids did though /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Glad you guys had a good trip and the forecast was wrong again! Lucky i didn't come, Zet & Ben have been ill.
Have fun, i won't (outlaws are coming) mayday! Actually no...Pan Pan, i just need slight asistance for the weekend!

Sorry to here about Ben/Lizette being ill. cant come to the rescue on the weekend. What if someone phoned to say Bonny Ms mooring lines were badly chaffed and needed urgent attention?

Glad you both had a good trip, and thanks for the pictures. I'm on call this weekend and will be doing my sailing through the computer as usual. I think its brilliant the way you always put pictures in with your posts. That way, we can all come on the trip with you in spirit at least.

Take care all,

Lizzy D

Hello Don. cant see why not,the muds fairly soft.I have seen A 35 foot steel long keel boat on there. And a number of fin keels.

Is it far to the pub?

15 Minute walk across the salt marshes or around the beach.Pick an average size tide.On a big spring the walkway floods so you need a dinghy to get ashore and back. On a small neap you wont get alongside even at HW.
