Just re-installing my exhaust, as you do, and I've decided to alter the run of it slightly for more convenient stowage. I'm looking for two 90 deg. elbows to fit an exhaust pipe ID, 40mm. Vetus and other manufacturers don't seem to have them. Are these bespoke items made in grp by marine engineers, or can I put brass plumbing in? These bends would be very near the counter outlet and well away from the engine and waterlock. Total exhaust run is about 3 metres.
Failing this, can anyone recommend a very flexible hose that would take sharp bends of about 6 inch radius? This may be cheaper than pipework and the extra SS jubilee clips needed.
Thanks, as ever.
