I sent my 5 year old Garmin 12 off to Garmin for repair. The power button would turn it on but not off!
A new one turned up yesterday, free of charge. You cant get better service than that.

I agree - about a year ago I broke the display on my Garmin handheld - completely my fault. Its a sealed unit that can't be repaired, but they offered to replace it with a new unit for approx £40 provided that I returned them the broken one.

I think Garmin really make the extra effort with customer service.
