Came across the website which cover the complete refurbishment of a Fisher 30 which had sunk in 27 feet of water in the US.

http://www.fisher30.lackeysailing.com/index.html

The author of the website has detailed every aspect of the refurbishment which started in August 2010 and is updated every time a section or sub-section of the work has been completed.

Worth a look for anyone who is mad enough (like me) to think of starting a refrub project.

Looked at that one

Looks like a Freeward 30 - same hull as a Fisher but different deck!

Its a Fisher Caribbean 30: I looked at it some time ago, needs a lot of work to get it ready, Engine looked a bit iffy as one of the cambelts was very worn and engine was very rusty. Also, thought that there was a lot of wooden parts missing such as floors and joinery work.

Think you would need to spend a lot to get it in the water,

New engine £6K
New upholsery £2K
Wood. lining/materials etc £5K
New trakmark £1K
and so on

Thanks for that - can't be many of those around and ultimately worth less than a wheelhouse Fisher 30 so price looks optimistic to say the least!
