There are a number of ex ferry slips I have seen in Scotland, for example Kyleakin and Kylesku. Are these normally available now for public launchings? Are they suitable for launching trailor sailor boats?

If you check out http://www.boatlaunch.co.uk/ you will find that both Kyleakin & Kyle of Lockalsh are now public slipways. Some even have nice pontoons so that you can tie up the boat and park car & trailer. Pity there aren't a few like that down south.

I'm sorry to disillusion you - Friday is tomorrow. Still another whole day before the weekend...

Ah - at least somebody out there is having a good day, I'd rather it was 5pm Friday at the moment.

Regards, Jeff.

Got me going there for a moment.

Thought "Ex-Ferry Slips" might be a tabloid headline.

Like "Ex-Model Slips Into Drug Hell"

Or "Ex-Manager Slips Goalie Brown Envelope To Fix Match"
