Have been here at mercury on T.M. since Thursday... Weather up to today has been dry n breezy and sunny and 4degs above zero in the wind !!! Grrrrrr !!!!... but today has been a total washout.. (guess who got the blame from various forumites)....HOWEVER..... bruv came down today and made the best of a bad job by FINALLY making my new Garmin plotter converse with my dsc vhf ...HOOORRRAAAA !!!! so not a total wipe out !!... MUST MENTION SPOTTYDOG of this parish who was good enough to offer me and my two guests a ride on his 9Mtr 300 raging ponies powered rib !!!!.... HOLY MOLY !!!!...does that thing go !!!!!.. we came back to mercurys looking like we had all swallowed a bunch of banana's !!!!... WHAT A RIDE !!!..my mates lad (with a freshly broken ankle) could be heard laughing and "WOW,ing" above the 48knts of wind and spray noise.....GREAT ONE ROY !!!! .. THANKS FROM ALL OF US....... also met forumites, Solitare, Matt13, Colhel, Winchy51, Lisilou (who was most generous in the cadburys dept!!!!) and the Paul Tallet posse who invited me and my guests on board for wine sweeties and a catch up...GREAT .........going home tomorrow, alas..

sounds like great fun Steve and sorry for not making the effort to meet up, wasn't avoiding you, just had lots to get done and then the props mishap. next time buddy... I would have said "take a rain check" on meeting up but thought better of it as you'd no doubt take the comment literally and bring a whole bunch more rain with you when we meet

What would we do without our Dustin eh (apart from keeping dry)
