IMO this seller is a rip-off merchant (as well as a snidey b'stard) and should be avoided like the plague. I bought an almanac from him last year but when it arrived it was out of date and he wouldn't give a refund.
I also sold him a book at about the same time (even let it go although he hadn't reached the reserve) and he still hasn't paid me. Keeps saying that he's off on a world cruise and he'll attend to it on his return. I mean, how long can a world cruise take?
Well, he seems to have an excellent seller history. I see there's a bid in for one of the €5 grips. What's the the difference between the €5 and €10 versions?
Clever but simple devices for use on both sailing and motor boats to handle unexpected strain on warps or halyards, or for stirring pies in the oven. The need for their use only becomes apparent when you are too old to be able to bend down and use them.
Unfortunately, there is no EU design-standard, so there are many sub-standard items which are offered via ebay. If they break in use, you end up rolling arse-over into the sea, allegedly.
Right. Own up. Who created the Wiki article (copy here) and how long did it last? I see that it was deleted with the comment "clever, but nonsense." /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
