Ever Wondered about IPS. Rodman 41 and question.

Chums Rodman 41 with IPS out of the water for A/F and Anodes.



Surprise was a noticable keel. Just out of picture.

Any other owners out there ?
Whats is supposed to latch the door open when under way any any sea ?
And was it supposed to come with "washboards" to drop into the slots in saloon door frame and swim platform door.

Wash boards are normally put on coded boats, as part of codeing and sometimes sail boat, not normally provided on boats otherwise.

Check the sliding patio door on the inside, at the top above the handle - probably a spring load bolt that clicks into place when the door is fully open. You can tighten/loosen the knob to adjust. If it's there and not working unscrew it a turn plus some oil.
A lot of Rodmans have a keel - good when anchored, slows/stops any rolling quickly.
