Ah, but it is all about negotiation. I didn't spend 35 years in advertising and marketing not to be able to do a deal!

I dare not tell you what the upgrade cost. But it was less than 30% !;) And it is the full commercial version.

Yep and you can drop down a ladder through a hatch in the saloon and you have a large area thats easy to move around in, forward of the engines, with crouch height where you can easily access all the daily check points, strainers, filters, dipsticks as well as get to the impellers etc.
The saloon floor only needs lifting for servicing, and even then you don't have to call in pickfords.

Nice, when a manufacter actually considers those things it's a good design.

If she kept her beam from the rubbing strake to he gunwale, the decks would be usefully wider, fairly near to double the width in fact.
Yes Mark, but you gotta get the thing out of the mould tool mate :D :D.

Pretty much all boats have this geometry in one way or another. Sunseeeker do it the most, in terms of chucking away potential side deck width just to have an easy mould release.

Lovely machine you have got there though, and Sealine's aft cabin/aft cockpit trick is still a bit of genius that has not been copied enough imho

Ever thought of an anchor, btw??? :D

One tiny thought, to add to job list. I dont like the fact the steaming light is (I think) obscured by helmsman and/or flybridge plotter pod. It should be higher. It would be nice to make a light mast and move the steaming and anchor lights up. As a temporary bodge I think I would tweak the wiring at the switch and steam with the anchor light on, as an anchor light serves perfectly well as a steaming and stern light

Hmm, true. even so they have overdone it. In fact i would rather have 6" less in the saloon and better side decks.

And last time you said anchor to me it had a W included. :)

the steaming light is a disaster, might as well floodlight the flybridge and so night vision is impossible.

On E3 I had to run at night with the bimini in place, but then it was properly dark.

I can always go to the lower helm I know but even so I want get the steaming light much higher, not just for the obscured by the fatty reason.

And whilst the temp bodge would look OK but is not strictly legal, and as a coded boat I have to stay that way. (it's only OK to have combined steaming/stern up to 12m)

So a light mast is planned. I won't need plug in NUC lights attached to a bit of wood then either.

Nice job Ellessar ,Evenstar looks great now . BTW where would you display your balls on her :D as i have similar setup on our F36 and need to figure it out .

I have a staff with the anchor ball permenantly attached. This clips onto the pulpit.
For NUC I can attach the 2nd ball under the first, and the staff goes in place of the ensign staff on the fly.
