Europe gas bottles

I'm about to contruct a gas bottle holder for the pushpit, to take the 6kg propane UK bottle which is 495mm x 256mm.

Will I find replacements in France, Spain which will fit? I know I'll need different regulator/adaptor, it's just the size I'm concerned about.

Suggest you contact Southern Calor in Southampton who will provide details of bottles and regulators. Many people travelling round Europe use Camping Gaz style bottles as these are the most widely available.

In France 13kg bottles are diametre 31 cm, height 56 cm if butane, 59.5 cm if propane

6kg bottles are 31 dia, 32 height

Campingaz 3ish kg are diametre 20 cm, height 25 cm (add regulator as it goes on top)

Then there is a plethora of cubic bottles..
