etrex power & data cable

Could anyone tell me where is the best source to get an etrex 12V power & data cable (combined)?
I tried GPS warehouse, but since I live in Germany and my card is registered in UK it seems I can't order from them.

Also it would be good to have a spare one of the plugs at the etrex end in case I break another one, are these available on their own?

The plug is not available generally across any shop counter - so you have to go online to this guy :

PFrank - he is in Estonia and part of a network of guys who supply these connectors for peanuts ...

As to power data cable - the best is the Garmins own but not cheap .....

I got my USB one from GPS Warehouse ... but as you say Credit Card address has to conform etc.

You may have luck if you try : Expansys or http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/ ??

I would hazard a guess a tel-call to any - even GPS Warehouse explaining problem may help ??

I have ordered stuff from various UK suppliers and had it delivered out in Baltic ...

PFrank provides the old Garmin plug, which the Etrex doesn't use.
It has a regular(sort of) USB miniplug.
If you run the Etrex from a PC, the standard cable provides power & data.
Ebay has a choice of cables.

Even gives advice on making own ........ for long time Pfrank was only 3rd party source for this connector ....

I see now that his web-site has changed a lot from the old one where the estonian guy gave story of development.

I have no connection to the guy and only mentioned Pfrank knowing they did these connectors.

FYI - I use an eTrex and have both Serial Power - Data and USB cables to fit .... >

I broke the plug at the eTrex end of my cable that powers the GPS and connects to the DSC by being too ham fisted.

PFrank has loads of stuff and very helpful and so I have ordered from him.
