Yeh! I was just rubbing my eyes in disbelief! Was I realy in a narrow channel, THIS close to the world renounded ferry botherer.

As luck would have it, he disapeared, on another challenging crossing to Bembridge, whew! What a relief, I could continue my passage in safety, down the Solent to find refuge amoungst the Isle of Wight ferries..

I mean it was lunch time, he might have been at the French beer already!

These Etap owners, believing their boats to be unsinkable, do take liberties I find. How about a pincer movement next time out?

It's a hell of a challenge, but I reckon we're up to it!

I reckon we could give 'im a good dunkin. maybe a little fairy liguid on the topsides and pop him up onto the mud like a bar of soap.

Unsinkable? here is a challenge, Everything is sinkable. Back in the early 1900 s there was a tale of an unsinkable ship, they made a film about that one but I can never remember the ending.

Anyway, reading the bav threads they seem to be habitually heading for the bottom when fairly major bits drop off, seconded by the legends.

Iditarod, driven straight through the middle at 40+knts ought to split it into two halves. Even if both halves still float, it would be interesting to see how he navigates both halves back. The only drawback I can see is that I'd also sink in the process. Still, should make some raggies happy, as it would remove another stinky from the Solent! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
