Etap 24i / First 260 spirit

Does anyone have any views or thoughts on the ETAP 24i (tandem keel) or the Beneteau First 260 (lift keel)? I appreciate they are both quick boats. Intended use - coastal plus maybe across channel on a good day!

The amount of cabin space is better on the First 260 and all in all it is a reasonable package but, it is very lively. In my own opinion, and I am not a designer, the rudders are too short. They are the same as used on the 211 and great on that boat but should be longer on the 260.

Had a look at the ETAP when considerin current boat, space only problem plus tandem keel not for me.

Are you looking at new or used?

I would sooner cross the channel in the Etap 24i then in the First 260 The First may, as David has said, a bit frisky.
