Any body bought a boat from conwy on its way down sarf tomorrow ,no i dont know what boat but a sc was waiting by the hoist

It was a Sealine SC47 that I have just sold to EBY.

The name was Terranova (Italian for Newfoundland - the breed of dog that, until a year ago, had been our first mate for many years).

Sorry to see the boat go - she was great and a lot of boat for the money.

lol
You may need a translator for kwacka though

I don a corse a month back on Darn Sarf speak
'ello ow r u m8'
Which really means--- How are things in The City, are Ones Shares doing OK?
'aars the Missus'
Which really means --- How are the Divorce Proceedings going on My Good Fellow
'Friggen berthin fees this year wiv MDL wot a rankin rippoff'
Which really means--- Must cut wages and drop a few Staff , seen the price of Gin now!
'That Rushie geezer and that Welsh git'

Yep - that looks like it.

What a shame - after all the years that we took care of her, some numpty does this. I don't think EBY has a customer for the boat at the moment, so hope the repair bill isn't too bad for them.

OMG! just seen the picture , didn't load when I tried before.
What a shame, wonder if the driver was following his Tom Tom thinghie
Poor passage planning maybe?

surely its the hauliers responsibility for any damage to the boat during transport and pay for any repairs. when i take on a job, that job is my responsibility, until hand over and then with a warranty period .

It was their own transport!

All, so to clarify .... I have it on excellent authority (yes I spoke to James !! ) that the lorries rear wheel steering failed hence it could not turn into Cuckoo corner - hence he had to stop.

The boat was undamaged ( fortunately) . It is a stock boat taken in PX against a Fairline.
