Yep, we really have spent six months in the yard now. Here's how Esper is looking in the saloon looking aft.

We're redesigning the ceiling and putting larger boards up. More importantly we're losing the horrible vinyl covering and will be replacing them with white laminate. You'll also notice some conduits running the length of the boards. These are to accommodate the new LED strip lights we'll be installing (picture of them in the next update).

The coffee table/dining table is almost complete and here you can see the pedastal, made in PSS boatyard, fitted to the floor. This will be completely removable to free up more floor space when we don't need the tables.

Here's Yoong, the man behind all the stainless work, doing a bit of aluminium welding.

There's a six month video round-up here: http://followtheboat.com/2014/08/25/esper-refit-6-month-roundup/

Hi Demonboy

Very impressed :encouragement:

Hmmm...

I wonder is it worth nipping over from the uk with my 40 year old westerly
for a refit

We have been 'following the refit' for a while and Esper progress is fantastic, what is most impressive is the vision of what you wanted six month (plus) ago, looking forward to the rest of the updates and adventure.
