Eric Clapton to sell his motor yacht

47.5 m Va Bene is up for auction in Los Angeles on 28th November.
Expected to fetch £5 -£7.6 million.
Unfortunately too heavy for my mooring buoy.
Va bene is Italian for 'all right' which seems a little understated, I would have to change that.

Owner number 2 was one Bernie Ecclestone, he wouldn't stand for bodging.

Pendennis did a major refit on this boat not long after Clapton bought it, - a mate of mine tells me it was immaculate by the time they were done.
