So we recorded Monday night's Sky prog on the AC and watched it last night. Knew there had been no sailing but thought it would provide an intro to the latest stages.

They showed the last fleet race in Act 13 - was it just me, or did anyone else think the commentators hadn't a clue what they were talking about? Oracle was clearly covering Luna Rossa and did some quick tacks and the commentators were wetting themselves over gear problems and dummy tacks. Embarrasingly awful - hope it's not the same idiots for the rest of the AC.

Possibly a bit harsh... but I do agree they seemed a bit out their depth when trying to explain Oracle's tactics (although they got there in the end).

Nice piccies though /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif (I must admit I turned the volume off to answer a phone call and didn't bother turning it up again...)

Marc.

Was that the race when they had to evacuate one of the crew, traped his hand in a winch or block ? may be the reason for odd tacking.

Normally the commentry is very good, and the filming can be brilliant.
