Here we go again - nothing is simple.
Having done a bit of online research into priming my alluminium saildrive leg I have discovered two possible approcahes:
1: Epoxy Primer followed by Undercoat and Antifoul
or
2: Self Etching Primer followed by the same.
I plan to use some Sea Jet underwater primer which has done a great job on the bare metal keel but the Sea Jet website recommends Epoxy Primer (their own barnd) and not a self etching primer.
As usual one is about three times the cost of the other...
Can anyone shed any light on what the risks are of going with option 2 above.
