Epoxy Masterclass with Tom Cunliffe

Oh neither do I, I just find it funny that the other channels on YouTube who declare sponsorships properly and are more subtle about it get a lot of stick on these forums, while Admiral Sir Tom is about as subtle as a brick through a window and never declares his sponsorships ? The other channels also make content in between getting paid directly to do so, so they aren't 100% advertising.

I'm not keen on a Saint Tom, he rambles on a lot, seen him talk at a few events, and totally off topic. If I want to something specialist I'll find a YouTube channel that only does the topic I'm knees to know about today.

I actually found the West Epoxies tutorial light enough for me to get my head round and the best explanation I've seen so far about the types and properties of each filler, which has always confused me. Yes he does ramble, but in this case the level he pitched it at suited me fine.

Now I think of it I probably have access to loads of just out of date epoxy ( NOT West I hasten to add) if I ask my BIL nicely. It be fine for my lowly bodging purposes I'm sure.

Well, I thought that video was absolutely top value - once they'd got over the patronising crap about safety and glasses. The techniques, products and their capabilities/uses was top drawer.

Excellent, even if it was a (very nicely done) soft-sell 'commercial'.

Well hes got new shoes!!. He said, nice shoes but they have a little mark on them. ground a discount out of the lady. I did tell her giving a discount to Sir Tom would set a precident and open the flood gates. so Force 4 gave Tom £10 off, try your luck

I’ve just watched it out of interest and thought it very informative. The majority of the content is given by the West employee.

Regarding Sir Tom, I’ve heard him speak on a number of occasions and always found him very engaging. A few years ago, I contacted him by email as I wanted to buy his USA motorcycle road trip book. He was very communicative, well beyond courtesy towards someone wanting to give him money.
