EPIRB Registration

Just thought I'd mention I needed to register an EPIRB I bought from a forumite and discovered this can now be done online. I'm sure this is a recent development as I registered another EPIRB a couple of months ago and that was done as a paper exercise. You probably know this or theres some long thread about it - but I didn't!

Ok, sorry to have wasted 5 seconds of your life! Bit of thread drift but I heard yesterday of a device capable of accurately displaying the boats position on a screen using sputniks (satellites they called them) to obtain a fix. Doubt it'll catch on and I'll stay with my sextant for a few more years yet.
