Epileptic at sea.

We sailed a half tonner in the 80's to Nationals and world events, one crew member had epilepsy, one attack happened on the long offshore event on the fore deck...he survived :)

I'd say it was entirely on topic given post #1 included it. The discussion then went on to question whether the OP was misinterpreting behaviour and actually there might not be an issue to solve. It might not be boating related but it is certainly on topic for the thread. I'd say it's more of a worry forcing disinterested people to go boating than bringing an epileptic person aboard who wants to be there, the latter will make every effort to stay safe within their capability while the former won't try to be safe at all.
