Enzyme or biocide?

So it seems some rain water got into one tank via a poor seal on the deck filler.

I now have evidence of little critters feeding on my fuel.

I'm not interested in wild claims of improved efficiency, better burn, reduced emissions etc.

I'm not fussed if I have to get through a few filter elements, they are only £2.50.

But I do want to erradicte the bug. Enzyme or biocide?

I ended up using both and, touch wood, finally seem to be on top of it after 7 years (first found the problem at the first Mercury meet!)
