Ensis oil - where to buy small quantity?

Engine laid up for 18 months, I've been recommended (by Beta) to squirt Shell Ensis oil into the bores.

I can't find anywhere that sells less than 20 litres

Anyone know of a source?
 
Try asking Hallett Oils, who sell small quantities of various oils for model engineers. Alternatively, what about using aerosol motorbike chain lube? The solvent in it evaporates and leaves a greasy residue.
 
I would use 2 stroke oil as an alternative to Ensis oil which is available in small quantities and will burn off readily when you start the engine.

If you use incorrect engine oil it may leave an unwanted residue in the cylinders as it does not burn readily or cleanly.

I was misunderstood.

I was not suggesting Ensis is an engine oil.

I was suggesting not using engine oil as an alternative to Ensis oil if unavailable but using 2 stroke oil instead.

Sorry if I didn't make that clear previously.

I'm not sure that's entirely correct.
If you intend to install a new Beta engine later than 6 months after purchase Beta will do the engine test run using Ensis oil.
Also this (in the picture) is what Shell say about Ensis.

I spent all day yesterday with the Youngest working on a 1600cc Suzuki Vitara engine which we had picked up on Thursday at a scrap yard. The engine has been sitting out in the rain for some months/years so having drained the sump we removed the inlet and exhaust manifolds and the plugs ready to tip it on its side to get the water out.

At this point Youngest says, shouldn't we buy a special kind of oil to spray in the cylinders before we try and turn it over as he's read about it on his 4WD Forum. I ask whether he's talking about fogging oil and he says yes. So I get my old oil can, add a few shots of white spirit until it's nice and runny and ..... voila, fogging oil!

He's not really convinced but I spray it into the cylinders, put a spanner on the crankshaft and, after a bit of jigging backwards and forwards, she now turns over by hand, even without the spanner, like a beauty. :)
