Ensign and bracket

Anybody know where I can get a tasteful ensign pole, and bracket tat will attach to my rear hand rail. Tried my local chandlers but no luck

subtle and simple. Wood pole, stainless bracket. All the ones I have seen are small, puney fake chromy ones that dont look like they would hold a tea towl rather than a decent sized ensign

It took me ages to find a suitable bracket, eventually bought one by mail order from West Marine in the States, it fits on the transom grabrail.

do you need to know the size or the grab rail, or are the adjustable when clamping? Did you get the pole from the same place?

Loads of wooden ones with stainless brackets at Marinesuperstore at Port Solent. They have an online shop

I've just looked on west Marine and can't find it now - I'll keep looking. I bought the 25mm bracket which was still slack on the rail even when tightened so I cut a small strip from a hosepipe, split it, wrapped it around the rail and the bracket then fit snugly

I got the pole (wooden) from Aladdins Cave on the Hamble - the big store not the smaller one.
